Welcome to the heart of the summer, the season to seek a new adventure. July in Panama, the temperature tends to hover around 81F with an average high of 88F and a low of 73F. This is a turning point in the weather as the sun begins to abate, ending the summer heat. But don’t worry, there are still a full 7 hours of sunshine. In Chiriqui, the temps tend to run a bit lower for this month, toting a high of 84F and a low of 71F.

The rainfall won’t change much in July – still firmly planted in Panama’s rainy season – but that won’t hurt your pull. You can expect to reel in Black Marlin, Cubera Snappers, and Yellowfin Tuna when fishing off shore near Isla Montuosa and Hannibal Bank. When off shore in the Gulf, you can expect to be met with Marlin, Sailfish, Tuna, Rooster Fish, Dorado, and a plethora of Snappers.
